How hard is it to cancel Bodytech?

Bodytech Colombia members cancel by written request presented at the relevant branch and must be current on payments; monthly credit-card-debit and virtual (nutrition) plans require 5 days' notice before the debit date, including via [email protected] for virtual services. Plans are sold either without lock-in (sin permanencia) or with a 1-year minimum term (con permanencia), and cancelling a permanencia plan early triggers a penalty equal to the values subsidized by Bodytech. On termination Bodytech reimburses the value of the member's unused/pending days relative to the contracted term. The contract provides a strong freeze (congelacion) right: up to 30 days per freeze with the first two per year free and 25% of frozen-day value thereafter. Colombia's SIC has previously sanctioned Bodytech over unclear indefinite-renewal wording on some no-lock-in plans.

  • Pause/freeze: available, Freeze (congelacion) of up to 30 calendar days per freeze with an unlimited number of freezes; the first two per calendar year are free (from the affiliation date, non-cumulative across years), and from the third freeze in the same year it costs 25% of the value of the frozen days; freezing a permanencia plan extends the term.
