How hard is it to cancel Bitdefender?
Bitdefender scores 75/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US, a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email, phone.
Bitdefender subscriptions can be cancelled online via Bitdefender Central (My Subscriptions > Subscriptions tab) or through the Verifone/2Checkout billing portal at store.bitdefender.com/myaccount/; users receive an email notification 45 days before renewal. New purchases carry a 30-day money-back guarantee, and renewals include a 30-day grace period during which a refund may be requested. Cancellation can be set to take effect at the end of the current term or immediately (the latter is available only 30+ days after purchase and includes a refund). The policy applies only to direct purchases from Bitdefender's official website; third-party purchases must be handled through the respective vendor.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
