Bitbucket (Atlassian) subscriptions are cancelled entirely online via admin.atlassian.com/billing by navigating to Subscriptions, selecting Manage, then Deactivate, a multi-step but fully self-serve process. Cancellation is scheduled rather than immediate: deactivation takes effect 15 days after the end of the current billing period. No refund or credit is issued for cancelling before the end of a billing cycle; a prorated refund is only available when converting from an annual plan to monthly. There is no pause or freeze option.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
