How hard is it to cancel Better Stack?
Better Stack scores 51/100 (grade D) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US, a poorly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email, phone.
To cancel, navigate to account settings by clicking your account name (top right) > 'Your account' > scroll down > 'Permanently remove your account'. This is a self-serve in-app deletion that is immediate and irreversible. The Terms of Service state users can also simply discontinue using the service. No dedicated 'cancel subscription' page exists, the delete-account path is the cancellation mechanism. Better Stack offers a 60-day money-back guarantee (contact [email protected] to claim it). Outside the 60-day window, the ToS states Better Stack has 'no obligation to provide a refund of any amounts previously paid.' No notice period is required. No explicit disclosure of when the subscription ends relative to billing cycle. Email support available at [email protected]; phone at +1 (628) 900-3830.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
