How hard is it to cancel Basic-Fit?

Basic-Fit NL members cancel online via My Basic-Fit (my.basic-fit.com/cancel-membership) or via the self-service orange kiosk in-club; no phone or email cancellation is promoted for standard cancellations. A 4-week notice period applies: for the annual (52-week) contract the minimum 1-year term must first expire, after which 4 weeks notice is required; the Flex contract (€9.99 extra per 4-week period) allows cancellation from the start with the same 4-week notice. Cancellation is free of charge through official channels; direct debit stops only after the notice or minimum period expires with no proration disclosed for mid-term exits. A 14-day statutory right of withdrawal applies to online sign-ups, with a pro-rata deduction if the membership was used during that window.

- Pause/freeze: available, Membership freeze available up to 4 weeks at a time, maximum twice per year. Free for Ultimate members; €2.99 per 4-week period for other tiers. Can be activated at any time through the account.
- Account/data deletion: Members may request data deletion by emailing [email protected]; requests handled within 4 weeks. Personal data is automatically deleted 2 years after membership termination. App data is deleted 2 months after membership ends and app is removed.
