How hard is it to cancel Basic-Fit France?
Basic-Fit France scores 82/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the FR — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), in-app, in person.
Basic-Fit France is cancelled through the Mon Basic-Fit online profile (website or app) or at an in-club kiosk (borne orange), free of charge, and a cancellation can be reversed via My Basic-Fit before the contract end date. Cancellation requires 4 weeks' notice counted from the next billing date, on top of the chosen minimum term of either 4 weeks (flexible) or 1 year. French consumer law gives a 14-day cooling-off (retractation) right at signup. During an annual commitment the only accepted early-exit grounds are a documented medical inability to exercise or a move of more than 2 km from the registered club, plus club closure; limited freezes are available for illness or temporary relocation. The French terms are governed by French law (Code de la Consommation), making them materially separate from the Netherlands terms.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
