Last reviewed 2026-06-05 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Asana allows self-serve online cancellation via Admin Console > Billing settings at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription term with no pro-rated refund for standard cancellations. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancellation must be completed before the renewal date; a 30-day advance notice is required for seat reductions or plan downgrades. Refunds are only issued if Asana materially breaches its service warranty and fails to cure within 30 days of written notice. No pause or freeze option exists; post-termination data export must be requested within 30 days.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
