Last reviewed 2026-06-06 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Apostrophe (a teledermatology service owned by Hims & Hers, shut down March 2025) allowed subscribers to pause or cancel entirely through their online patient account under Settings > Shipment Information. Cancellation must be initiated at least 48 hours before the next order date; orders already in pharmacy processing cannot be canceled or refunded. Prescription medications are non-refundable under any circumstances per FDA regulations; the $20 visit fee is refundable only if a provider is unable to treat the patient's condition.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
