How hard is it to cancel AMC A-List?
AMC A-List scores 78/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), in-app.
AMC A-List (formally AMC Stubs A-List) is a monthly movie subscription with a 3-month minimum commitment; after that period, members may cancel online via the 'View and Manage Your Plan' section of their AMC account dashboard or the AMC Theatres mobile app. Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 5 business days before the next billing date to avoid another monthly charge. No partial refunds are issued for the current billing period; access continues through the end of the last fully paid month. Members who cancel cannot rejoin for 6 months.
How to cancel AMC A-List
- Channels: online (self-serve), in-app
- Official cancellation page: https://www.amctheatres.com/faqs/amc-stubs-a-list
- Pause/freeze: not offered. No member-initiated pause option is currently documented for active A-List accounts. AMC's FAQ includes a URL slug for a pause page but current official content does not confirm a self-serve pause feature; COVID-era pauses were a temporary exception, not an ongoing option.
- Account/data deletion: Consumers (including California residents under CCPA) may submit a personal-data deletion request via AMC's online Privacy Request Form, by phone at 1-800-576-7849, or by mail to AMC Entertainment, Attn: Privacy Manager, 11500 Ash Street, Leawood, KS 66211. https://www.amctheatres.com/privacy

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
