How hard is it to cancel AKT?
AKT scores 62/100 (grade C) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a partially documented cancellation policy with notable gaps. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email, in person.
AKT memberships require a written 30-day cancellation notice with requests made in person at the studio, via the online account page, or by email to [email protected]. Select memberships carry an additional cancellation fee. Members retain access through the remainder of the current billing period but are not entitled to any refund of any kind. A membership freeze is available on eligible plans for $5/month with at least 2 weeks notice to the home studio.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
