ADAC provides an official online cancellation form (the legally required German Kündigungsbutton since July 2022); members can also cancel by email to [email protected] or by phone. Cancellation must be in text form (Textform) with a notice period of three months to the end of the contribution period; a tariff downgrade requires only one month's notice. The membership auto-renews annually if not cancelled within the three-month window. No refund of unused membership fee is stated on the cancellation page. Cancellation confirmation with an effective end date is provided.
